About an hour (21:40) before the pass above my area, it started raining, which up until then the sky was crystal clear. Thankfully when I checked Radar it was clear skies for the pass. However to ensure I did, I drove to the nearest field to ensure I had the biggest field of view. Once set up in the field I watched the clock and the Skyview Lite app until it broke the clouds. As I watched the ISS go across the sky I saw it pretty much the whole way except for two or three sparse clouds that blocked my view for a second or two. I was very thankful for the beautiful night in a part of the world that usually deals with clouds and light pollution.
