Library on the move
The rebirth of the Oliver library has begun.
Okanagan Regional Library staff have been busy moving furniture and shelving units to the new location in Oliver Place Mall, where community librarian Marigje Toepfer is diligently setting up shop.
She gave the Times-Chronicle a brief tour, showing the wide open space, meeting rooms and storage area in the location previously occupied by the SEARS hometown store at the back of the mall.
Okanagan Regional Library believes the new, central location will be more convenient for patrons. It is slated to open some time in June."

The Oliver Library has served the community of Oliver for over 20 years at its prior location. The history of the first library is unknown.
Relocating to the Oliver Place Mall provides a larger space and is more conveniently located. The library is currently closed due to COVID-19 with no physical access to the library at this time. You can still put books on hold using the library's website with designated times for curbside pickup. The book drop is near the front door with limited times for drop off.
You can register for a new card online, place books on hold, search the catelog as well as access all other services.
