The Hope Monument is between Station of the Cross 6 and Station of the Cross 7 along a sidewalk that circles through the middle of the campus of the Oblate School of Theology. The main entrance into the campus is officially 285 Oblate Drive, San Antonio, TX 78216, which is on the south side of the campus. However, if you are just wanting to visit the campus temporarily, there are large parking lots on the north side of the campus, approached from Mt. Sacred Heart Road. Parking there and waling the footpath for the Stations of the Cross is more convenient.
This monument is life sized, so walking toward it will give you the impression a man and a woman are sitting on a bench near some landscaping in the middle of the campus. As you arrive at the coordinates, it becomes evident the people are in fact sculptures of a young couple with a newborn baby being held by the father and adored by the mother. The sculptures of husband, wife and child are life-like and detailed. It captures the emotional expressions of new parents watching their swaddled infant. There is a small bronzed plaque that tells the name of the sculpture and the motivation for its creation. There is both a Spanish and English title plaque at the site. The English version of the name plate reads as follows:

This sculpture celebrates the preciousness and sanctity of human life. It speaks to the healing hope which Christ's compassion, tender gaze and touch engenders for all who have lost children of any age.
