Located on McGregor Blvd just north of College Parkway is a statue of a Golden Buddha. This oversized statue has been at this location for over 50 years and was originally the landmark for the Bamboo Inn, a local Chinese restaurant that was popular in the area for a number of years.
The Buddha sits on a raised platform approximately 5 feet high and is approximately 4 feet high and 8 feet wide.
Today the restaurant is gone but the Buddha remains as a bit of area history and now is listed on the Roadside America website and app.
