On this tympanum, an allegorical figure representing the conquest of the golden fleece. There are three children there. The one on the right sits on the neck of a sea horse and holds a Marine anchor. The one in the middle paddles by handing the trident of Neptune The third brandishes in his left hand a caduceus, then symbol of trade.
The allegory as a whole represents the accession of the manufacture to maritime trade. Indeed, the production of this one was sought everywhere everywhere including abroad and transited by boat to England or Holland. "

Celui du milieu rame en rendant à la main le trident de Neptune Le troisième brandit dans sa main gauche un caducée, alors symbole du commerce.
L'allégorie dans son ensemble représente l'accession de la manufacture au commerce maritime. En effet, la production de celle-ci était recherchée partout y compris à l'étranger et transitait par bateau jusqu'en Angleterre ou Hollande ."
