Old milepost located in a private yard, but it is quite visible and in really good condition. This is about the midpoint of the road between Cincinnati and Dayton. The 4 on the one face is backwards.

The stone is located in the yard of 850 Cinci-Dayton Road, Monroe, OH. This was along the route of the road that ran between Cincinnati and Dayton. The route became part of the Dixie Highway.
