There are 7 of these welded steel plates on a pole. All of the Bratton family, and all in a row in this old cemetery. There are also here, stone with just a mark (i.e. and "X" or a "~") which I presume to be that persons "Mark"...

Per death certificate #1838: Wilber Bratton was born on July 4, 1901 in Montgomery County, MO to John E. Bratton & Sarah (David) Bratton. Wilber died of pneumonia in Montgomery County, MO on January 21, 1915 at the age of 13 yrs 6 months and 17 days old. Burial took place on January 22, 1915 at the Bethany Cemetery with B. S. Baker as the undertaker.
