'Fietsen door het Water' in Bokrijk is een unieke fietsbeleving waarbij je meer dan 200 meter dwars door een vijver fietst. Het fietspad werd geopend in april 2016 en sindsdien hebben al veel fietsers en wandelaars de magie van deze plek gevoeld.

Het fietspad leidt je dwars door een vijver, helemaal van de ene oever tot aan de andere. In het midden staat het water aan weerszijden op ooghoogte. Je voelt, ziet en ruikt het water. Een mooi en uniek zicht over dit stukje natuur. Wanneer je vanop een afstand toekijkt is het grappig om al die hoofden op het wateroppervlak voorbij te zien gaan. Ook al heet het 'Fietsen door het Water', het pad is toegankelijk voor wandelaars en joggers.

'Cycling through the Water' in Bokrijk is a unique cycling experience in which you cycle more than 200 meters through a pond. The bike path opened in April 2016 and since then many cyclists and hikers have felt the magic of this place.

The cycle path leads you through a pond, all the way from one bank to the other. In the middle, the water is at eye level on both sides. You feel, see and smell the water. A beautiful and unique view over this piece of nature. When you watch from a distance it is funny to see all those heads on the surface of the water passing by. Even though it is called 'Cycling through the Water', the path is accessible to walkers and joggers.
