Rowe Park is named for William Earl Rowe (1894-1984), 20th Lieutenant Governor of Ontario.

The park has a modern play structure for young children (posted co-ordinates). In 2010, the old city of Kanata sign was replaced with a city of Ottawa sign.

Rowe Park is a short walk from other small parks.
