Dr. Phillip Henry Cronin and his wife Julia Kate Dillion Cronin had eight children. With the exception of one, all are buried in Holy Cross Cemetery.

The mausoleum is constructed of grey granite. The family name “CRONIN” is above the entry. There are four white columns, two on each side of the metal double doors. There is a small stain glass window on the rear wall.
