Cette caserne de 370 m 2a été initiée par l'ancienne communauté de communes Plaine de Courance (CCPC), reprise et réalisée par la CAN, et transférée cette année à la SCPC (syndicat de communes de Plaine de Courance), avec les financements afférents. Claude Roulleau a rappelé que cette caserne, d'un coût de 380.000?€, intègre toutes les contraintes réglementaires et notamment l'accès aux personnes handicapées des deux sexes. Sa construction a été subventionnée à hauteur de 86.000?€.
Avec deux garages pour les véhicules, des sanitaires et des vestiaires fonctionnels, une salle de réunion et un local pour l'amicale des sapeurs pompiers, les 18 sapeurs volontaires, commandés par le lieutenant Piat, disposent dorénavant d'un outil performant pour leurs interventions. Dont le nombre augmente chaque année, notamment les secours à personnes.
