Solon Township Hall is located in Cedar Springs at 15185 Algoma Avenue Northeast. The building is mainly reddish tan bricks with two white fancy cinder block brick running around the building for decoration. There is a covered entrance that has a peaked roof. The front entrance faces East and has two glass doors. The roof is peaked and burgundy colored metal.

The township is in northern Kent County and is bordered to the southeast by the city of Cedar Springs. Newaygo and Montcalm counties border the township to the north.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 36.3 square miles (94.0 km2), of which 34.7 square miles (89.9 km2) are land and 1.5 square miles (4.0 km2), or 4.29%, are water.[3]"
