De Brielse Dom is de bijnaam van de (toren van de) Sint-Catharijnekerk. Een begrip in heel Brielle en ver daarbuiten. Omdat iedere kant van de toren een eigen klok heeft, is de tijd rondom goed af te lezen. De klokken hangen op ruim 50 meter hoogte (de toren zelf is zo'n 57 meter hoog) en zijn dan ook van kilometers afstand zichtbaar.
De kerk is gebouwd in het jaar 1417. Uiteraard zijn de wijzerplaten van de torenklokken zelf van veel recentere datum.

The Brielse Dom is the nickname of the (tower of the) St. Catharijnekerk. A household name throughout Brielle and far beyond. Because each side of the tower has its own clock, the time all around is easy to read. The clocks hang at a height of more than 50 meters (the tower itself is about 57 meters high) and are therefore visible from miles away.
The church was built in 1417. Of course, the dials of the tower clocks themselves are of a much more recent date.
