Hilton New Orleans Riverside is a 29-story, 341 feet (104 m)-tall skyscraper hotel. The hotel is owned by Park Hotels & Resorts and is managed by Hilton Worldwide as part of the Hilton Hotels & Resorts chain. A portion of the building complex overlooks the Mississippi River front. The building is connected via an enclosed pedestrian walkway with the adjacent Outlet Collection at Riverwalk.
The 1,622-room Hilton hotel has completed a $6 million renovation to the Grand Ballroom, Grand Salon and first and second level meeting spaces in 2017.
The second level Exhibition Center has also been fully renovated utilizing a soothing blue color palette. The refurbished space has been renamed “Churchill,” paying tribute to the Winston Churchill Statue donated to the city in 1977 and located in front of the hotel entrance.
Hilton New Orleans Riverside recently opened Marketplace in the Riverside Complex serving Starbucks coffee, a variety of freshly baked goods and to-go menu items, and souvenirs from local artisans and famed New Orleans brands like Cafe du Monde.
Musician Pete Fountain had a club where he performed regularly in the Hilton for some 20 years up to 2003.
