Mrs. Grant was initially buried in the Deport Cemetery, which is now inactive and slightly-neglected, and she was moved here to be with her husband, William Stephens Grant, after he died in 1947. That probably has something to do with why he gets the top billing on a headstone from the Woodmen Circle, a women's organization. The family name, "Grant", is on the plinth, and there is an open book at the top of the headstone, either a Bible or a Book of Life. "Mother" and "Father" are at the bottom of the headstone, and below the Woodmen Circle emblem is this inscription:

W.S. Grant
November 24, 1871
February 4, 1947

His Wife
Eddie L. Grant
July 15, 1871
March 9, 1916
Was the inscription legible?: Yes
