Sited a few feet off Mineral Mountain Road, this marker appears to be a 105 MM shell casing. It is brass and embedded in a concrete collar. The top is about 3" above the concrete. The markings on the back are FP 302 OS 105MM M14 1981 AZ ARNG OT FA 3-22 1971. This may be a fired shell casing re-purposed as a marker with additional data stamped on it. The marker is located 1008.27 feet south of Mineral Mountain Road on an angle of 180 degrees and 1229.26 feet west of the intersection of Mineral Mountain Road and Molina Tank Road at an angle of 263.84 degrees. It is 2.42 miles southeast of the intersection of U.S. 60 and Mineral Mountain Road in a straight line.
