Waypoint 31 G is a signed trail intersection near parking lot P14. The YAH sign at P14 is also a waymark. Despite being mapped as trail #31, old markers for trail #30 can still be seen. There is also a fitness trail here extending for 2000 metres.
The National Capital Commission (NCC) maintains waypoint signs throughout the Greenbelt, a natural area which surrounds the city of Ottawa. The waypoints mark trail intersections. The signs include geographic co-ordinates and a map of other nearby waypoints on the trail system.
