66C139 was monumented in 1966 in the north face of the southeast wingwall at the southeast corner of the Nine Mile Canyon Bridge, just 6 inches above ground level. Atop the wingwall is a concrete stele with a bronze plaque on the south side, opposite the Benchmark.
The 240 meter steel trestle bridge carries Highway 1 over the canyon and Ainslie Creek, far below.
