Ravne og skovsnepper er nogle af områdets spændende ynglefugle, og også den sjældne nordiske lappedykker er tidligere set i området. The size and variety of the forest form the perfect setting for many different bird species - both breeding birds and migratory birds. Ravens and woodcocks are some of the area's exciting breeding birds, and also the rare Nordic grebe was previously seen in the area. Green woodpeckers are also found in the area, which is a bird species in decline.
