Description architecturale

Eglise orientée.
Plan allongé.
Chevet à trois pans percés de baies à lancettes, séparées par des contreforts.
Façade occidentale simple, portail pourvu d'un tympan formé par un arc en accolade.
Tour-clocher en pierre encastrée dans la nef au nord de la façade. Présence de lanternons à chaque coin, reliés à la flèche par des arcs-boutants.
Nef et choeur séparés par un arc diaphragme.
Appareillage régulier en pierre.

Histoire et dates importantes

Construction de l'église au XVe siècle pour remplacer une première église située au lieu-dit le Bois Valois.
Vitraux modernes représentant saint Benoît, saint Romain, saint Eloi, saint Fiacre, l'Annonciation, la Nativité, la découverte du corps de saint Maurice et la translation des reliques.
Peinture du jugement de saint Maurice de 1910 par Henri Jarre qui décore l'arc diaphragme séparant le choeur et la nef. Offerte par le marquis de Martainville.
Statue de saint Maurice du XVIe siècle en pierre.

Architectural description

Oriented church.
Elongated shot.
Three-sided bedside table pierced with lancet bays, separated by buttresses.
Simple western facade, portal provided with a tympanum formed by a curved arch.
Stone bell tower embedded in the nave north of the facade. Presence of lanterns at each corner, connected to the spire by flying buttresses.
Nave and choir separated by a diaphragm arch.
Regular stone equipment.

Reconstruction of the spire in 1899.
Sacristy to the south added in the 19th century.

Construction of the church in the 15th century to replace a first church located at a place called Bois Valois.
Modern stained glass windows depicting Saint Benedict, Saint Roman, Saint Eloi, Saint Fiacre, the Annunciation, the Nativity, the discovery of the body of Saint Maurice and the translation of the relics.
Painting of the judgment of Saint Maurice of 1910 by Henri Jarre who decorates the diaphragm arch separating the choir and the nave. Donated by the Marquis de Martainville.
Stone statue of Saint Maurice from the 16th century.
