Op een wereldbol zijn in reliëf afbeeldingen aangebracht. Het monument is tevens een fontein en staat in een waterbassin. Peta Vlieger maakte het monument in samenwerking met 100 scholieren van de scholengemeenschap RSG Noordoost-Veluwe in Epe. De scholieren hebben elk een afbeelding in was gemaakt met het thema 'vrede en gerechtheid', zoals vredetekens en -duiven en de woorden 'freedom' en 'pax'. Vlieger heeft al deze afbeeldingen op de bol geplaatst, die daarna in brons is gegoten. Het monument is onthuld op 5 mei 1995 op de viering van de bevrijding van Nederland van de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Bij het monument staat een gedicht van Pablo Neruda: En dan komt de dag dat wij licht, water, aarde en de mens bevrijden. Dan zal het zijn allen voor allen.

There are embossed images on a globe. The monument is also a fountain and stands in a water basin. Peta Vlieger made the monument in collaboration with 100 students of the school community RSG Noordoost-Veluwe in Epe. The students each made an image with the theme 'peace and justice', such as peace signs and pigeons and the words 'freedom' and 'pax'. Vlieger placed all these images on the sphere, which was then cast in bronze. The monument was unveiled on May 5, 1995 at the celebration of the liberation of the Netherlands from World War II. At the monument is a poem by Pablo Neruda: And then the day comes when we liberate light, water, earth and people. Then it will be all for all.
