Unfortunately, this monument could be called "Purl McFallen". It's hard to tell whether the tire tracks in the mud were left by vandals or a lawnmower. Probably the latter, as this cemetery is very well-maintained, with a few toppled headstones that may have been knocked over by wayward cattle from the adjacent pasture. Always be sure to secure the gate when entering the cemetery, as it's not the dead that may pass through, it's the living!
Although the tree trunk is on its side, the Woodmen of the World emblem is visible, a later one with the stump in the center. Most of the inscription is also visible:
