The bridge built in 1898-1899 consists of five truss spans supported on two concrete abutments and four common concrete piers. The centre of the bridge has two 75 metre hogback double intersection Pratt trusses and the approaches have two 30.5 metre riveted through Pratt trusses at the northern end and a single truss located at the southern end of the bridge.
