White Rock Lodge #234 occupies a modern building, but their charter was issued on June 16, 1859. There is no indication as to where they were located before their arrival in Frankford, but their Facebook page (see "Other", below) notes that they were a moonlight lodge in their early days. In 1872, they constructed a lodge building that also served as a school and church, located in what is now the northwest corner of the Frankford Cemetery, part of Addison today. In fact, that town's namesake, Addison Robertson, was a Freemason, as were many of the area's movers and shakers, including members of the McKamy family. Captain Charles McKamy led the effort to build the Frankford Church in the 1890s, and while no longer active, its sanctuary is still with us.

The lodge's previous building was across the street from here, by the Addison State Bank building. It was a little more traditional, with school or something else on the first floor, and lodge meetings were better protected on the second floor. It was destroyed by fire, and replaced in 1954 with the current lodge.
