This statue by local sculptor Kenneth Armitage consists of 3 pairs of legs standing on a plinth.
Walked past here on 20th August 2024 and the sculpture has been removed, all that remains is the flat place that the plinth stood on.

The legs are made of painted bronze and stand in the middle of a wide, but busy pavement near to City Square.
It was sculpted in 2001, 1 year before Armitage's death and installed here in 2013.
There is a plaque at the base of the statue.
