Carrington Cemetery -- also known as White Chapel Cemetery -- is a small burial site of about 100 plots located on Whites Chapel Road near Sunny Side, just 3 miles south of Monaville (Waller County), Texas.

It was very likely established around the 1850's with land donated by Edwin Atwood Glover (1799-1874) whose sarcophagus/gravestone is prominently located about 100 east of these coordinates.

Very little information could be found online for Gus V. ("Vincent") Christopher. That said, the "Find A Grave" website did provide a little more information:

* Both his father (August) and brother (Frank) are also buried at this cemetery.
* His father immigrated from France.
* Their last name used to be "Christophe", without the "r" at the end. This was likely changed once in order to conform with the English spelling of that name (although his sister did keep the original spelling as her maiden name).

Gus Vincent Christopher's headstone monument bears the standard WOW seal at the crest; its inscription reads:

GUS V
CHRISTOPHER
DEC 17, 1884
JAN 29, 1925
---
At Rest
Was the inscription legible?: Yes
