Church Clock on the north face of the west tower of St Andrew's church, Tur Langton. The clock has a blue face with gilded roman numerals and hands.
The clock was given in 1996 in memory of John Spencer Stanhope. A plaque inside the church reads -
John Spencer Stanhope
1943 - 1996
The clock in the tower was presented
to St Andrew's Church
by Jenny Stanhope, family and friends,
in loving memory of her husband John,
farmer of this village, to commemorate his life,
brought to a tragic end on August 12th 1996
