EN: This fountain stands on a dirt road in the east of Therwil, right after the end of the fitness trail that leads through the forest.
The fountain has an iron fountain column, which is dated 1970. The wooden trough is made from a hollowed-out tree trunk and is apparently somewhat younger. In the front it is labeled "Bürgergemeinde Therwil" (a Bürgergemeinde is a special Swiss form of a sort-of-communal association that is hard to describe or translate. It is not the municipality and is not the community of inhabitants, it does not exists in other countries).
DE: Dieser Brunnen steht an einem Feldweg im Osten von Therwil, gleich nach dem Ende des Fitness-Parcours, der hier durch den Wald führt.
Der Brunnen hat eine eiserne Brunnensäule, die mit 1970 datiert ist. Der hölzerne Trog ist aus einem ausgehöhlten Baumstamm gefertigt und offenbar etwas jünger. Vorne ist er mit "Bürgergemeinde Therwil" beschriftet.
