This is a wine producing cooperative, made up of 90 families which farm and produce the grapes which are used to produce a wide variety of Franconian Wines. The primary wine grape of this part of Germany is the Sylvaner Grape and most of the area's wine exhibits undertones of "Muschelkalk" (literally shell chalk), which describes the underlying bedrock and soil of the area. If one is a fan of 'terroir' in white wines, it means there is a tiny bit of chalky minerality in the wines on the aroma and taste. Other varieties exhibit the Muschelkalk undertones.

Wines from Super Dry through varying degrees of sweetness can be taster and purchased here, by the bottle or glass. Local foods are available as well, and there are outdoor and indoor tables for you to relax and enjoy your purchase.

Some of the family owned vineyards are to the west of the winery.
