Cooper Cemetery is in Logan County, on the east side of Guthrie. It is on the north side of Prairie Grove, east of South Hiwassee Rd. This is a rural cemetery that appears to be well maintained. The graves are spread out among the property, with families members close together. There are a few big trees but the area is mostly an expanse of grass. The pull bar to open the gate to allow pedestrian access is rusted and difficult to slide open.
Please be very careful about driving on these rural Oklahoma dirt roads after a rain. They can get very muddy and you face a real risk of getting stuck out here with no cell service.
