This section corner is located in the crater of Mokst Butte west of the summit. The location is well marked by a sign and bearing markers. The cap is set near ground surface in the rocky lava flow surface with a steel post with Land Survey Monument sign nearby. The cap was set for the Forest Service by LS 1104 in 1979. The cap is marked T 20 S, R 12 E, S15, S16, S21, S22.
