Little is known about the history of the present church. Gothic in style, it seems to date from the 14th century. The western facade and the first span of the nave were altered, even rebuilt, in 1771, as indicated by the date written above the door. On this occasion, a sculpted canopy in flamboyant Gothic style, which could date from the 15th century, was used to re-decorate the facade.

L'histoire de l'église actuelle est très peu connue. De style gothique, elle semble datable du 14e siècle. La façade occidentale et la première travée de la nef ont été remaniées, voire reconstruites, en 1771, comme l'indique la date inscrite au-dessus de la porte. A cette occasion, un dais sculpté de style gothique flamboyant, qui pourrait dater du 15e siècle, a été utilisé en remploi pour l'ornementation de la façade.
