Der Bildhauer Heinrich Kirchner wurde 1902 in Erlangen geboren. Er wurde durch seine in der Form stark vereinfachten Plastiken von Menschen Tieren aus Eisen und Bronze bekannt und gehörte zu den bedeutenden süddeutschen Bildhauern seiner Generation.

Im Garten werden viele seiner Großskulpturen ausgestellt, die auch zur Nachahmung einladen.

Der Garten liegt im Hang des "Burgberg". Wer es bis nach oben schafft hat einen tollen Aussichtspunkt auf die Stadt Erlangen.

The sculptor Heinrich Kirchner was born in Erlangen in 1902. He became known for his simplistic sculptures of people made of iron and bronze and was one of the most important sculptors of his generation in southern Germany.

Many of his large sculptures are exhibited in the garden, which also invite you to imitate them.

The garden is on the slope of the "Burgberg". Those who make it to the top have a great viewpoint over the city of Erlangen.
