This bridge is at the mouth of the Han River in Da Nang City, in central Vietnam. The bridge has four-lanes and three-spans. It is 1,850 meters long and 18 meters wide, with a main span of 405 meters. Its two major pillars are 80m in height. It is the longest suspension bridge in Vietnam. The actual distance over the Han River is approximately 1 kilometre.

The construction cost was VND 650 billion (about 42 million US dollars). Bridge construction began in 2003 and was completed in 2009.

Pedestrian access to the bridge begins on traffic circles about a kilometre back from the bridge itself. A walk. The bridge can experience strong winds and busy traffic.
