There was a little bit of effort put into this headstone, demonstrating someone's love for Mr. Wood. It's created to resemble markers that one might find for burials from the 1860s and earlier in this part of the United States, with a circular shape atop something more square or rectangular. A banner of sorts, comprised of ovals, has a pair of doves underneath, and the family name, "Wood", is etched in solid letters. The inscription below reads:
