Eva Grace Dawson aged 3 years and 4 months was burnt to death on June 16th 1915 at Lynden, 50kms west of Moree, when her clothing caught fire. The accident happened as she and her 5 year old brother were playing 200m from the house whilst placing twigs on a smouldering log which erupted in flames causing her clothes to catch fire.
