EN: The Schwarzsee is a small alpine lake at 1,860 meters above sea level on the northern slope of the Lötschental. It measures around 100 to 80 meters. The well-known hiking trail Lötschentaler Höhenweg leads past its shore. The lake is a popular resting place on this route. In midsummer, the lake is also suitable for swimming.
DE: Der Schwarzsee ist ein kleiner Alpensee auf 1860 Meter über Meer am Nordhang des Lötschentals. Er misst rund 100 auf 80 Meter. Die bekannte Wanderstrecke Lötschentaler Höhenweg führt an ihrem Ufer vorbei. Der See ist ein beliebter Rastplatz auf dieser Strecke. Im Hochsommer ist der See auch zum Baden geeignet.
