The rural community of Simon is so small that you won't even see it on maps, but there are references to it in obituaries. There are no headstones in the cemetery bearing the name "Simon", and documentation for rural Love County is scant at best.
The cemetery is on private land, and a sign at the open access gate on Stockton Rd asks that you stay on the road and limit visits to the cemetery. Be on the lookout for armadillos, and one of the local ranchers has a couple of dogs that may skirt the outside of the cemetery to watch you, but they keep their distance and don't appear to be hostile.
