CZ: 2047 Smetana je planetka nacházející se v hlavním pásu asteroidu. Objevil ji ceský astronom Luboš Kohoutek 26. ríjna 1971. Byla pojmenována podle ceského hudebního skladatele Bedricha Smetany. Kolem Slunce obehne jednou za 2,56 let.
Bedrich Smetana (2. brezna 1824 Litomyšl – 12. kvetna 1884 Praha) byl významným ceským hudebním skladatelem, dnes známým predevším cyklem symfonických básní Má vlast a operami Libuše a Prodaná nevesta. Jeho skladby vznikaly v období romantismu.
ENG: 2047 Smetana is asteroid found in the main asteroid belt. It was discovered by Czech astronomer Luboš Kohoutek on October 26, 1971. It was named after Czech composer Bedrich Smetana. It orbits the Sun once every 2.56 years.
Bedrich Smetana (2 March 1824 Litomyšl - May 12, 1884 Prague) was a prominent Czech composer, now known primarily for his cycle of symphonic poems Má vlast (My Country) and operas Libuše and Prodaná nevesta (The Bartered Bride). His compositions were made during the Romantic period.
