Blockhaus construit par les Allemands en 1943, il était prévu pour abriter les troupes en cas de bombardement (murs et plafond de 2m d'épaisseur). Son code d'identification est Ar 3601. Il pouvait accueillir 19 personnes sans 2 salles de vie.
Les Allemands sont partis du site le dimanche 20 août 1944.
Entre 1944 et 1947, le blockhaus sert de lieu de stockage pour la construction du nouveau phare.
Inoccupé depuis 1947, enseveli par le sable, oublié depuis cette date, c'est en 2010 que la commune de Lège-Cap Ferret; en partenariat avec l'association GRAMASA, décide de rénover l'intérieur du blockhaus. Un projet de réaménagement complet est lancé. Ce travail a permis de reconstituer une pièce de vie telle qu'en 1944, et de créer une salle d'exposition rappelant l'histoire du Mur de l'Atlantique.

Between 1944 and 1947, the blockhouse served as storage for the construction of the new lighthouse.
Unoccupied since 1947, buried by the sand, forgotten since that date, it is in 2010 that the municipality of Lège-Cap Ferret; in partnership with the GRAMASA association, decides to renovate the interior of the blockhouse. A complete redevelopment project is launched. This work allowed to reconstitute a living room as in 1944, and to create an exhibition hall reminiscent of the history of the Atlantic Wall.
