Pioneer Sherman Stevens' home was build of redwood that was shipped from Eureka. The home is a classic Queen Anne Victorian with many interesting acrhitectural features. The house remained in the Stevens family until 1980. Now an office, the surrounding office buildings replaced avocado grove in 1982. This house is one of many homes in the area of historical significance.
The Stevens house is part of the "Take Main Street to Tustin History ...a walking tour". The self-guided tour covers two miles of Tustin's interesting history. A brochure outlining the walking tour can be picked up outside the Tustin Area Museum at 395 El Camino Real in Tustin.
