The Corkery Community Centre is in the rural, western area of greater Ottawa. The community centre and the surrounding park are located on the former Carroll family property in the area once known as Huntley township. The Corkery Community Centre, the Carroll Homestead Community Park, and the Corkery Community Association all date back to the 1990s.

With a playground nearby and picnic tables outside the front door, the Corkery Community Centre is a well-used summer location to enjoy fun and food. In the winter months, the community centre is frequently used as a warming centre for the outdoor ice rink. Throughout the year, programs such as children's play groups are available at the community centre. Contact the City of Ottawa for information about rental space.
