The second of St Paul's cemeteries in London was established in 1834. Many of the burials were transplants from the first St Paul's cemetery. This cemetery did not last long as a city bi-law passed in 1849 no longer allowed burials within city limits. So a third cemetery was established and most of the cemetery's residents were moved. In 1968 it was discovered that some burials were missed and it's thought there are others in unmarked graves still present.
