La qualité de l'emplacement sur une hauteur près de la rivière Saint-François et à l'écart de la route, en fait un site exceptionnel. À tel point que cette scène fut choisie pour représenter un pasage typique du Canada sur les billets de 2$, de 1954 à 1975. La photo ayant servi pour la gravure de ce billet a été prise derrière l'église sur le chemin Cimetière.
La coupure de 2 dollars a été imprimée par la British American Bank
Note Company. Harry Dawson, qui travaillait pour cette dernière, a gravé le verso du billet,sur lequel figure une illustration de la rivière Saint-François, vue depuis Upper Melbourne, dans le comté de Richmond, au Québec. La même bordure est utilisée sur les deux faces de tous les billets de la série.
Bien sûr, le paysage a changé depuis 1975 mais on peut toujours reconnaître l'église tout au fond.

Between 1954 and 1975 the reverse side of Royal Mint's two-dollar bills were printed with a bucolic Canadian landscape. That etching, meant to capture a typical Canadian countryside, was created from a photograph taken from the ridge that rises behing St.Andrew.s Church and which overlooks the St.Francis River.
The $2 note was printed by BABN. The back of the note, which features
a view of the Saint-François River from Upper Melbourne, Richmond, Quebec, was engraved by BABN’s Harry Dawson. Note that the same border design is used on the front and back of the notes in this series.
Of course the landscape changed since 1975 but we can still recognize the church.
