Throughout Seattle's grid system there are diagonal streets creating triangle plots of land. The intersection of NW 85 St, 32 Av NW, and Loyal Way NW is one of those. In 1928, this retail building was built there utilizing most of the plot's shape.

In 1928 this one-story, triangle-shaped building was completed and served as various grocery stores and pharmacies over the decades.

Today it is a coffee cafe and an organic restaurant continuing to serve the Sunset Hill neighbourhood.
