Ashton/Island Park Ranger District has his Smokey Bear signting.

Smokey was created as the symbol for wildfire prevention during WWII following a Japanese submarine that shelled areas in California near the Los Padre National Forest. In 1942, the fear was large forest fires that would deplete the timber going toward battleships, gunstocks and packing crates for military transport.
Condition of Smokey Bear:

Forest Name: caribou-targhee-national-forest-ashton/island district
