This dog park is located at a former rest area along I-90. It's a great place to get out and let your dog run when traveling the interstate as it's safer than the rest areas.

This is, however, the most poorly designed dog park I have ever been to. If you go on a Saturday morning (not recommended) be prepared for people just letting their dogs run in packs and ganging up on smaller dogs. The covered picnic tables immediately inside the gates encourage people to enter and sit, as opposed to interacting with their dogs. The gate itself is a double gate, but unfortunately not spring loaded, so people have a tendency to leave them open, giving the opportunity for animals to escape.

There are randomly placed refuse barrels with poop rakes and scoops, so that's a good thing.

The coordinates given are for the entrance gate, right next to the parking area.

As stated earlier, this is a very easy access from the interstate. Traveling either east or west on I-90 take exit 299 (State Line), turn north, then turn west when the road curves east. Parking is available on both sides of the road. The parking is also for the Centennial Trail, which is an excellent alternative if you want to take your dog on a leashed walk.
