The final resting place of centenarian Opal P. Ingram is at Carney Cemetery. She is laid to rest with her spouse, Leo G., and they share a large upright marker.

1965: A Charlie Brown Christmas, the first Peanuts television special, debuts on CBS, quickly becoming an annual tradition.
1975: Construction of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System begins.
1985: U.S. Vice President George H. W. Bush announces that New Hampshire teacher Christa McAuliffe will become the first schoolteacher to ride aboard the Space Shuttle Challenger.
1995: The Dalai Lama proclaims 6-year-old Gedhun Choekyi Nyima as the 11th reincarnation of the Panchen Lama.
2005: Pope John Paul II dies; over four million people travel to the Vatican to mourn him.
