As described by the NGS in 1979 (although already monumented 2 years earlier):
"NEAR THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF A PARK BETWEEN THE CITY HALL AND PIMA COUNTY COURT HOUSE, IN TOP OF THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE CONCRETE FOUNDATION FOR A PARK LIGHT POLE, 55.5 FEET SOUTH OF THE SOUTH CURB OF ALAMEDA STREET, 69.5 FEET SOUTHWEST OF THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE OLD COURT HOUSE, 6.5 FEET WEST OF THE EXTENDED EAST CURB OF COURT AVENUE AND 4.0 FEET EAST OF THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF A CONCRETE ELEVATOR SHAFT BUILDING. THE MARK IS 1 FT ABOVE ALAMEDA STREET."
Save for the reference to the "light pole" (which is no longer there, only its foundation), the NGS description is still pretty accurate. The station is located on the ground about 4ft East of an outdoor elevator building.
The NGS' currently posted coordinates ("N 32 13 24.19 W 110 58 25.04") are definitely off, though... and misleading as they point to a location 25' North of the station in question (and closer to another wall, i.e. not by the elevator at all): my measurements were "N 32° 13.400 W 110° 58.417" based on 10+ readings within 10' accuracy.
The station was recovered in good condition.
