Kilometrovník 43.910 / Kilometerstone 43.910, Dušníky, Czechia - Milestones on Waymarking.com

CZ: Žulový kilometrovník tzv. vzoru 1933 s mimorádne presným císlem 43.910 (km). Tyto kilometrovníky byly instalovány u hlavních silnic v tehdejším Ceskoslovensku a odmerovaly vzdálenost od výchozího bodu. Tento kilometrovník patrne nestojí na puvodním míste, ale byl sem premísten z nejaké križovatky v souvislosti s prestavbou komunikací. Nasvedcuje tomu jeho poloha, správne by mel k silnici stát hranou, a to vždy na levé strane silnice - tehdy se jezdilo vlevo. Kilometrovníku vzor 1933 se už dochovalo jen velmi málo, natož s takto kuriózním císlem.

EN: The granite kilometerstone of the so-called 1933 model with an extremely accurate number of 43,910 (km). These kilometerstones were installed on the main roads in the former Czechoslovakia and measured the distance from the starting point. This kilometerstone does not appear to have been in its original location, but has been relocated here from an intersection in connection with the reconstruction of roads. This is indicated by its location, it should be right to the edge of the road, always on the left side of the road - then left. There were very few surviving kilometerstones of 1933, let alone with such a curious number.
